The Dutchess County Interfaith Council will be presenting the
45th Annual Interfaith Music Festival in combination with the Thanksgiving Service - as one program entitled "Still We Give Thanks!"
Sunday, November 22, 2pm
Covid 19 precautions required a change in plans because in-person attendance was not possible. Both events are much-loved and well-attended so DCIC decided to combine the Music Festival and the Thanksgiving Service and present them both online.
This year there will be pre-recorded segments interspersed with live streamed performances from Freedom Plains United Presbyterian Church. The program will feature a wonderful sampling of music and readings from the Christian, Jewish, Hindu, and Muslim traditions.
The Interfaith Music Festival is one of the largest fundraisers of the Dutchess County Interfaith Council and the proceeds support the many worthwhile programs of the Interfaith Council which include the CROP Walk to End Hunger, the Interfaith Story Circle, among others.
Donations can be made via PayPal to support the work of the DCIC. Checks may also be mailed to: DCIC, 9 Vassar St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
